Tall buildings and skyscrapers are the first things that come to mind when we think about Dubai. Dubai is also quite popular for offering its tourists unique experiences. One such special experience is the gyrocopter flight. The gyrocopter, also known as autogyro, is a small 2-seater aircraft. It is a combination of helicopter and airplane. The gyrocopter flight is for those who want to have an aerial experience but not as adventurous as skydiving.

Before you get into the flight, you will get to meet your pilot, who will provide you with safety instructions. You will also be weighed to ensure that you do not weigh more than 100 kg. Also, you will have to produce your ID card to confirm that you are at least 17 years old. After this, you will be seated on the gyrocopter along with the pilot, who will take you on a 20-minute flight over the city of Dubai. For twenty full minutes, you will be soaring and gliding past some of the most iconic landmarks of Dubai. Marvel at the man-made Palm islands as they dot the flawless blue ocean and the sail-shaped silhouette of the Burj Al Arab, the tallest hotel in the world.

Remember that the gyrocopter can hold only 1 person apart from the pilot and hence is a solo activity.

By Bus:

• The closest bus stop is Mina Al Siyahi, Le Meridien Hotel 1. It is a 15-minute walk or 3-minute taxi ride to the attraction.

• Board buses 8, 84, or N55 to get here.

• All flights are subject to weather and visibility conditions.

• All participants must be at least 17 years old and weigh less than 105 kg on the day of their flight (due to weather conditions, the weight limit during summer time is 100kg maximum). These are legal and manufacturer restrictions and exist for safety reasons, as such, no exceptions will be made.

• It is recommended to wear comfortable and athletic clothes along with sneakers or sport shoes for this activity.

• The right to which style of Gyrocopter aircraft is used during your flight is up to the discretion of the operations team. Their decision is final. This cannot be changed during an operational day.

• Customers flying in the open-style Gyrocopters are not allowed to carry any items or belongings with them during their flight for safety reasons.

• This experience is not suitable for pregnant women.

• You may leave any personal belongings in the free lockers available at the location.
